Usual Sunday stuff. I don’t know what I did with the bulk of the day. Paid some bills, played some guitar. Did not leave the building, which is unusual.
At 2:30 I set up the auditorium so Bruce, who is presenting a book talk tomorrow, could rehearse. Interesting talk. Afterward I quickly grabbed some of the recorded video and made it available to him and his wife to check out.
Sitting around thinking it was about time to write the old blog, when I saw an email from a neighbor on the in-house bulletin board: the full moon will be rising at 9:18. So I took the old Nikon up to the 11th floor outdoor walkway and waited. Texted Joanne and she came up to watch with me. Jerry and Betty showed up at about 9:16. And we caught the moon rising, colored orange by smog.
