Joanne had a meeting scheduled for 9, so we started the Friday muffin walk at 7:15am. Had a nice coffee and chat at Verve, then at 8 went to buy her weekly muffin, and the Little Sky Bakery pop-up store, which is always at the corner of Homer and Emerson every Friday morning — wasn’t there! The apocalypse is surely coming…
At 11 I went to the ResTech (formerly AI interest group) meeting. We discussed how to respond to an invite from Stanford Robotics, to send some people to a symposium they are running nest month. We also talked about how to respond to a request from a “program coordinator” at the local library who wants to know if we want to work with her on some AI-related programs at the library. People (not me) got delegated to get more info from each.
Spent the rest of the day taking care of things that kept popping into my head as needing doing. Ah the satisfaction of making a list and crossing things off the list.
