First thing, walk to Starbucks for a meeting with Leah, just to keep in touch with my medical rep. From there I went by the downtown Library to renew my library card, because I wanted to activate the Libby app on my phone and it had said my card was expired.
Back home, I called Gryphon instruments and made an appointment to have the guitar looked at. I hope they will be able to lower the action on the middle part of the neck. Now that I have no pending commitments to play I can be without it for a while, if necessary.
In the late afternoon I drove over to California Ave where they have outdoor music every “third thursday”. It was pleasant walking around. But I had a terrible time deciding where to eat. There are so many restaurants, most with tables on the pavement (the street is pedestrian-only for four blocks), and I just couldn’t make up my mind.
Back to CH by 7 to check on Kass who was setting up the auditorium for a jazz concert. No problems, she knew what she was doing. The band was OK, nothing astounding.
